Bill Craighead’s Web Page

Welcome to my web page. I am an economist especially interested in macroeconomics, international economics and economic history.  I received my MA (2001) and PhD (2006) from the University of Virginia.  Prior to coming to Wesleyan, I taught for several years at Miami University in Oxford Ohio.

I was born in Colorado and grew up in Michigan.  After graduating from Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota, I spent a couple of years in New York writing about Latin American corporate loans for a trade publication.  I am a fan of the Detroit Tigers baseball team.
